Tony Stewart introduced the Prelude in 2005 to raise money for various charities. This year, the beneficiaries of the hospital four children: Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte, NC, health care of children in Atlanta, St. Louis Children's Hospital, and Children's Medical Center of Dallas.
"Obviously, the track position was key, but make good equipment - it takes the same recipe to win these races he does in our world cup world," Bowyer said. "We must hard work and dedication, bringing the right equipment to monitor and adapt to what the condition is.
"[Wednesday night] was the dry / slick. Of course, qualifying well and works well in the heat race leads to a good start on the site, and eventually I ended up winning the race."
After finishing second in 2009 and '10, finally Bowyer said the first prize.
"It's so beautiful," said Bowyer, who owns his own team and the car Jimmie Johnson. "I'm really proud of the boys. It 'was asked a lot of them to achieve this, there are two cars on top of what they are going in their world.
"So I am proud of the fact that you can do this and be a part of it myself."
Drivers competed for the team and honor an individual to determine the distribution of proceeds collected for charity. St. Louis team, paced by Allgaier said top prize - 30 per cent of production. The second was conducted by a team of Atlanta Bowyer, gaining 25 percent of the money raised.
Dallas team, led by Yeley and Almirola was third, followed by the team of Levine, whose best result was Prelude rookie Austin Dillon in the eighth inning. Dallas and Levine will each receive 20 percent of the product.
Ryan Newman won the pole Prelude, racing around a dirt road half a mile is 16.364 seconds to edge Carl Edwards (16.429 seconds) and Busch (16.444 seconds). Kasey Kahne (16.478 seconds) was fourth, and each of the first four qualifiers started third in their heats.
This proved to be harmful, since all the four heat winners came from the front row of 8-Lappers. Bowyer Stewart might have to start winning Heat 1 Allgaier led wire to wire for the second heat. Marcos Ambrose pulled away from Ricky Carmichael to take the heat 3, and Jason Leffler has led all eight races in the final heat.
To create a 30-lap main event Bowyer, Almirola, Ambrose and Yeley tails in the top four places. As previous winners Stewart Kenny Wallace Johnson and aligned to the rear, hoping to collect a $ 50,000 bonus for winning their respective hospitals in the rear.
Edwards, another past winner in the field, chose to maintain their point of departure of sessions, but had a good reason.
"We want to win this race, and we are fortunate that we have already won, so the pressure is off track - just go out there and have fun," Edwards said before the event. "The pressure I have, however, comes from my [team] guys out there sweating now.
"They told me that the boss man, Stacy Holmes, who owns the car, swore that if I win this race, he will have air conditioning in the shop for guys. So if I messed up on this point, there will be lots of very hot, sweaty, crazy - for me -. there is some pressure here "
Although the decision not to work for Edwards, who finished 15 th, the event achieved its goal, with the aim of raising funds for children's hospitals. Part of the procedure, are also fun and comradeship between the best drivers who return year after year.
"This is what we are here to have a good time for a good cause, children's hospitals," said David Gilliland, who finished 21st in his debut in Prelude. "I had my sponsor Aflac in Atlanta once, and I have to go visit the children's hospital and meet some of the children. It certainly left a lasting impression."
